Admission steps and dates

  • Shadow a student and/or schedule a tour

You’re invited to shadow a current student on Tuesdays or Fridays, October- May. You can schedule a shadow or tour with Mrs. Rebecca Garza.

  • Fill out and submit the online Admissions Application

If Admissions Application is submitted by Jan. 17, 2020, you will receive $100 off Registration fees due in the Spring.

  • Print out and submit the following forms to your current school.  Upon completion, your school will mail to La Salle.

-Request for Records Form (Current Transcript)

-Principal/Counselor/Other Evaluation

-Math Teacher Evaluation

-English Teacher Evaluation

 

  • If you are interested in Financial Assistance, a need-based online application can be filled out online using your 2018 tax returns.  

(application can be found at www.lasalleyakima.com / Financial Aid / Online FACTS application)

Please note:  If you are applying for Financial Assistance, you may also fill out the Central Washington Catholic Foundation’s “Tuition Assistance Program” (TAP) income-based application through FACTS as well. Helpful Hint: More funds are available in the beginning of the year, so apply early.

 

  • Sign up for the High School Assessment (for incoming public-school freshmen). 

Please contact Mrs. Rebecca Garza to schedule the assessment time. Assessment is a 3-hour exam and are scheduled for Saturday, February 1st at 9:00am or 3:00pm.

 

  • Sign up for Student Interviews 

Please contact Mrs. Rebecca Garza to schedule the interview. Don’t be nervous, no tough questions, no wrong answers.  Saturday, February 29th, 2020 at 9:00am -11:45am

 

**Once all items have been completed and/or received, we will mail decision letters.  As a condition of     acceptance, some freshman may be required to attend the summer “High School Prep” course for Math or English.

 

***Any students who thinks they would like to test for Geometry and Spanish II placement may schedule a placement test with Mr. Cody Lamb at clamb@lasalleyakima.org.
